Invitation to Women
Calling Women to Spiritual Motherhood: A Sacred Invitation
Women of all ages — mothers, daughters, grandmothers, single women, consecrated women — you are invited to embrace a quiet but mighty vocation: becoming a spiritual mother to priests.
Just as Mary stood at the foot of the Cross, offering her silent strength and unwavering love, so too are women called to spiritually support our priests through intercessory prayer, sacrifice, and maternal care of the soul. You may never meet the priest you pray for, but your prayers can sustain him in moments of doubt, protect him in spiritual battle, and strengthen him in his mission to bring us the Eucharist.
This is not a symbolic gesture — it is a real and powerful calling. The Church needs spiritual mothers who will pray for vocations, for holiness, and for perseverance. And in this sacred exchange, something beautiful happens: our prayers not only sanctify our priests, but also deepen and sanctify our own vocations — whether as wives, mothers, sisters, or daughters of God.
Will you answer this call? Will you become a spiritual mother to a priest?
Let us raise up holy priests through the hidden strength of holy women — and in doing so, allow our own lives to be transformed by grace.
